The coordination meeting for organizers and co-organizers of the parallel sessions of the 2026 Guangzhou Medical Expo was successfully held in the conference room of the Municipal Health Commission on July 29. Governments, enterprises and medical institutions are pooling efforts to forge ahead at full speed in the critical phase leading up to the exhibition.

This coordination meeting carried out overall arrangements covering five major dimensions of the entire preparation process for parallel sessions, clarified phased submission deadlines and agenda specifications, established a standardized communication and coordination mechanism, unified quality control standards including content review and audience organization, and formulated unified management norms for various matters such as venue adjustment, guest invitation, enterprise cooperation and supporting events.

This edition of the Guangzhou Medical Expo features five conference zones with supporting meeting rooms in Area B. A total of 24 high-level parallel events will be held concurrently. Covering an extensive range of topics including international healthcare, cutting-edge technologies, new biomedical technologies, artificial intelligence, brain-computer interfaces, nuclear medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, hospital-enterprise supply-demand matchmaking, clinical research and medical aesthetics, it serves as a multi-party communication platform for dialogue among government, industry, academia, research institutions, medical practitioners and investors.

All parties will coordinate to advance the preparation work for the entire conference process and jointly build high-level, highly practical professional conference events. The 2026 Guangzhou Medical Expo will grandly kick off in Area B of the Canton Fair Complex from August 21 to 23. Stay tuned!
