In order to provide tracking services for participating medical institutions at the 2023 Guangzhou Medical and Health Industry Expo and to plan for the deployment of next year's Guangzhou Medical Expo, a symposium was held on September 20, 2023 (Wednesday) at 14:30 pm in Conference Room 101 of the Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission.

Cai Yinghong, Director of the Restructuring Division of Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission, Liu Xiujuan, Deputy Director, Sun Yixian Memorial Hospital of Sun Yat sen University (the Second Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat sen University), the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat sen University, the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat sen University, Sun Yat sen Cancer Center, the Pearl River Hospital of Southern Medical University, the Third Affiliated Hospital of Southern Medical University, and the Dermatology Hospital of Southern Medical University, Jinan University Affiliated First Hospital (Guangzhou Overseas Chinese Hospital), Guangdong Pharmaceutical University Affiliated First Hospital, Guangzhou Medical University Affiliated Second Hospital, Guangzhou Medical University Affiliated Oncology Hospital, Guangzhou First People's Hospital, Guangzhou Women and Children's Medical Center, Guangzhou Medical University Affiliated Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, Guangzhou Red Cross Hospital, representatives of Guangzhou Medical University Affiliated City Eight Hospitals, Guangzhou Bioengineering Center Co., Ltd, The relevant leaders of Guangzhou Yushi Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd. and Guangdong Cross Collection Exhibition Co., Ltd. attended the meeting.

The meeting was chaired by Cai Yinghong, Director of the Restructuring Department of the Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission. Director Cai first introduced the agenda and attendees of the meeting. Director Cai stated that the 2023 Guangzhou Medical Expo was fortunate to have invited Liu Dengfeng, the Inspector of the National Health, Science and Education Department, Hu Jianping, the Deputy Director of the Statistical Information Center of the National Health Commission, Lai Zhihong, the Deputy Mayor of Guangzhou Municipal People's Government, Liu Guisheng, the Director of the Planning and Evaluation Department of the Science and Education Department of the National Health Commission, Wang Hongbin, the Deputy Director of the Guangdong Provincial Health Commission, and Zhou Duanhua, a member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission, to attend, Assist in building a new development pattern for the medical and health industry, and also lay the foundation for the next Guangzhou Medical Expo. This symposium not only aims to summarize the situation of the 2023 Guangzhou Medical Expo, but also to make arrangements for the 2024 Guangzhou Medical Expo.

At the beginning of the meeting, representatives of 15 medical institutions summarized their participation experiences and gains from the Guangzhou Medical Expo. Most of the representatives stated that the Guangzhou Medical Expo was very successful, providing a good communication and trading platform for enterprises and medical institutions, and also allowing other provinces and cities to re understand Guangdong's medical resources.

At the end of the meeting, the relevant leaders of Guangdong Cross Harvest Exhibition Co., Ltd. reported on the relevant situation of the 2023 Guangzhou Medical Expo and proposed plans and suggestions for next year's Guangzhou Medical Expo. The exhibition scale will be further expanded next year, and special brand exhibitions such as "Clinical Research Institution Exhibition and Guangzhou Clinical Research Industry Trade Fair" (referred to as "Clinical Research Association") and "Digital Medical Technology and Application Exhibition" (referred to as "Digital Medical Exhibition") will be established at the same time.
