In order to further promote the construction of smart hospitals, accelerate the promotion and application of smart medical technology services, strengthen the construction of medical information security, and promote the healthy and sustainable development of the medical industry, the 3rd Guangzhou Smart Hospital Dean Conference and the 4th Guangzhou Private Hospital Dean Forum - Medical Information Security Symposium were held simultaneously with the Guangzhou Medical Expo on August 23, 2024. More than 100 leaders, guests, experts, scholars, and business representatives from various sectors such as government, medical institutions, universities, and information technology enterprises attended the conference.

 Xia Zhihua, deputy chairman of the Special Committee of the Information Security Branch of the Association and director of the Cyberspace Security Department of Jinan University, Yang Youye, member of the national expert panel for drafting, formulating and reviewing the Review Standards and Implementation Rules for Level III General Hospitals, and national reviewer, Yang Yang, deputy director of the Information Management Department of Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital, Ma Wei, head of the Information Management Department of Qianhai Life Insurance Guangzhou General Hospital, Deng Chong, senior solution expert of China Mobile Internet Corporation, and Ouyang Xueyuan, general manager of Guangzhou Ideal Information Technology Co., Ltd., respectively made the Background, Status Quo and Trend of Data Classification in the Health Industry, Flexible Use of Third Party Service Resources, Change Hospital Operating Pressure into Competitive Advantage, Analysis of Laws and Regulations Related to Information Security in the Medical Industry, and Analysis of Smart Hospital Construction Information Security Challenges and Considerations Theme sharing on "Privacy Protection and Data Security in Smart Healthcare" and "Information Security Construction in Private and Medical Intensive Care".

At the end of the meeting, Cao Xiaojun, Director of the Information Data Center of Guangzhou Women and Children's Medical Center, made a speech. He stated that the seminar focused on the theme of "medical information security" and conducted in-depth and effective sharing and exploration. It is not only a positive response to the current situation of medical information security, but also a long-term layout for the healthy development of the medical industry in the future.
