Recently, the Office of the Leading Group for Innovation and Development of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Industry in Guangdong Province held a press conference and released the first batch of "Artificial Intelligence+" application scenarios.

On April 1st, Zeng Jinze, Director of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, stated that the department is developing the "Guangdong Province's' Artificial Intelligence+'Action Plan", focusing on key areas such as education, healthcare, transportation, civil affairs, finance, and security. The plan is to cultivate 100 demonstration application scenarios and 500 demonstration cases, forming relatively mature and scalable application standards, providing clear direction and norms for the implementation of artificial intelligence in various fields. In response to the expansion of "artificial intelligence+" application scenarios, Guangdong will issue the "Guangdong Province Artificial Intelligence Application Scenario List" in batches, detailing the specific implementation path and key points for building demonstration applications in key areas, in order to guide various regions and departments to efficiently create application scenarios that meet actual needs; Intensify support for benchmark applications, select 10 benchmark cases of artificial intelligence empowering new industrialization every year, and reward each selected case with a maximum of 8 million yuan.

The first batch of "Artificial Intelligence+" application scenarios issued this time includes four major industries: artificial intelligence+manufacturing, artificial intelligence+education, artificial intelligence+healthcare, and artificial intelligence+security, with a total of 30 application scenarios.

Among them, in the medical field, 10 typical scenarios such as imaging diagnosis, clinical decision-making, surgical planning, outpatient triage, and medical consultation have been sorted out. For example, Mindray Medical and Tencent jointly developed the world's first clinically implemented "Qiyuan Critical Care Model", which has increased doctors' work efficiency by more than 30 times.

In addition to the 30 categories of "artificial intelligence+" application scenarios, Guangdong has also released 8 large-scale models of the artificial intelligence industry, 29 artificial intelligence application solutions, and 13 intelligent terminal products.

It is reported that Guangdong will increase policy support in the future, coordinate various funds to tilt policies towards artificial intelligence terminals, support various regions to promote the intelligent upgrading of existing advantageous industries, and develop distinctive AI terminal products.
