On April 23, the first phase of the 2026 New Ecology Greater Bay Area Healthcare Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition was successfully held at Guangzhou International Finance Building. Leading medical experts, senior investors and high-quality sci-tech innovation teams gathered together for this grand event for healthcare entrepreneurs in the Greater Bay Area, pioneering a new chapter of in-depth integration of technology, capital, policies and industries.

Joint Promotion by Guangdong Cerebrovascular Device Research Institute & 2026 Guangzhou Medical Fair

The event featured a highlight session featuring in-depth cooperation promotion between the Guangdong Provincial Research Institute for Advanced Cerebrovascular Disease Treatment Devices and the 2026 Guangzhou Medical & Health Industry Expo, delivering high-value resource docking opportunities for all participants.

Xie Xixin, Secretary-General of the Research Institute, introduced its strategic layout, full-industry-chain service system and profound industrial accumulation. Covering R&D, clinical collaboration and achievement incubation, the institute boasts robust technical support and comprehensive service systems, laying a solid foundation for the innovation and industrialization of medical devices.

He further elaborated on the in-depth cooperation plan between the institute and the 2026 Guangzhou Medical & Health Industry Expo. Scheduled to take place at Zone B of the Canton Fair Complex from August 21 to 23, the expo will serve as a key platform for the national "Spring Rain Initiative". The institute will host the Hundred Enterprises Gather for Innovation, Devices Empower Healthcare Development Medical Device Cutting-edge Technology & Transformation Summit during the expo.

In the project roadshow session, five outstanding enterprises including Kangyue Medical, Maiyuan Chuangke, Boliqiming Pharmaceutical, Huiyan Institute Infrared Technology and Dark Energy Galaxy Technology showcased cutting-edge projects, covering stroke rehabilitation gloves, super vascular endothelial cell therapy and photodynamic anti-infection technology, winning high attention and professional comments from experts and investors. The networking session also provided a convenient platform for in-depth communication and business cooperation.
