On February 2, 2026, the Guangdong Provincial Medical Products Administration and the Guangdong Provincial Health Commission issued the 2025 Edition of the Catalogue of Drugs and Medical Devices from Hong Kong and Macao Urgently Needed for Clinical Use in the Nine Mainland Cities of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Guangdong Province. The 2025 Edition Catalogue includes a total of 115 drugs and medical devices, among which 45 are drugs and 70 are medical devices.

Announcement of the Guangdong Provincial Medical Products Administration and the Guangdong Provincial Health Commission on Issuing the 2025 Edition of the Catalogue of Drugs and Medical Devices from Hong Kong and Macao Urgently Needed for Clinical Use in the Nine Mainland Cities of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area

In accordance with the provisions of the Regulations on the Import of Drugs and Medical Devices from Hong Kong and Macao for Use in the Nine Mainland Cities of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Guangdong Province and the Measures for the Administration of the Catalogue of Drugs and Medical Devices from Hong Kong and Macao Urgently Needed for Clinical Use in the Nine Mainland Cities of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Guangdong Province, the Guangdong Provincial Medical Products Administration and the Guangdong Provincial Health Commission have decided upon research to issue the 2025 Edition of the Catalogue of Drugs and Medical Devices from Hong Kong and Macao Urgently Needed for Clinical Use in the Nine Mainland Cities of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Guangdong Province (hereinafter referred to as the 2025 Edition Catalogue). The 2025 Edition Catalogue contains a total of 115 drugs and medical devices, including 45 drugs and 70 medical devices.

With effect from the date of issuance of this Announcement, designated medical institutions applying for the import and use of the varieties included in the 2025 Edition Catalogue shall file applications in accordance with the procedures and requirements specified in the Catalogue. The original 2024 Edition of the Catalogue of Drugs and Medical Devices from Hong Kong and Macao Urgently Needed for Clinical Use in the Nine Mainland Cities of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Guangdong Province shall be abolished with immediate effect from the date of issuance of this Announcement.
