To solidly promote the preparation work for the 2025 Guangzhou Medical and Health Industry Expo (hereinafter referred to as "Guangzhou Medical Expo"), the Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission organized a preparatory meeting for the Guangzhou Medical Expo on the morning of March 10th. Leaders from the Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission, Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, responsible leaders from various district health bureaus, representatives from Guangzhou laboratories and medical institutions, transformation platforms, industry associations, and enterprises attended the meeting.

The meeting was chaired by Deng Xijin, Director of the Drug Administration Department of the Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission. At the beginning of the meeting, Director Deng Xijin introduced the background, significance, and main purpose of the Guangzhou Medical Expo. Subsequently, Lin Wei, the project leader of Guangzhou Medical Expo, introduced the exhibition highlights, exhibition areas, conference activities and other work plans of Guangzhou Medical Expo. Finally, the attending representatives discussed various exhibition areas and conference events, confirmed their respective leading and responsible preparations for the exhibition areas and conference activities, and put forward many constructive opinions and suggestions.

The meeting pointed out that the Guangzhou Medical Expo, as a professional exhibition of the 33rd Guangzhou Expo, is an important platform to showcase the development achievements of Guangzhou's medical and health industry and promote industry exchange and cooperation. Relevant units should attach great importance to it and strengthen cooperation.

The meeting emphasized that in the next step, the leading units of each exhibition area should further refine the work plan, clarify the division of responsibilities, and ensure the solid progress of various preparatory work for the expo based on the results of the meeting discussion.
